First of all I'd like to start with an update on Turban-Friend. He has decided that his turban will be pink. (notice the unfortunate and previously though impossible lack of headphones)
Oh my god i love him. And here's the picture i drew too...

And when I showed his brother (who is a beast at photoshop) he gave me this and told me it was much more accurate. (Apparently he doesn't smile much in his presence, which isn't the case around me but whatever.)
I showed it to him via webcam.
Although the day isn't exactly over I've decided that there's no chance anything exciting is going to happen so I'll tell you about what this pathetic day has consisted of:
It's
REALLY
hot.
It's BEEN hot for the past 4 days with no relief, like, 96 degree weather with no AC. I'm DYING here. But being the current financial situation the majority of the country is in, me padre refuses to put the ACs in "until we need it".
Tomorrow is gonna feel up to 106 with the humidity.
We need it.
I remember when we first went into the war and I was watching the news and they said something about it being 106 where the troops were...in Iraq...not New England...what's wrong here?!
So yesterday I was forced to go the beach with my family. Now, at the beach, we're that family. You know, the family with the dog that won't shut up with the dad that's drinking a beer 99.9% of the time, the parents won't stop yelling at each other or the kids, the pretty daughter ignores the whole thing while tanning on the blanket, and then there's me.
I sit there fully clothed in a silent boycott against basic human nature and get the only sunburn I have ever gotten.
And it's a bitch.
My eyelids are swollen and my nose is a cherry and I'm absolutely miserable. My skin feels like its boiling on my body. And I have the most ridiculous tan/burn-lines you've ever seen (i.e. trucker arms and a line mid-thigh from my shorts...lovely)
But hey. What are you gonna do.
I've used a whole bottle of aloe and I'm still in pain.
But good news! I took a bunch of pictures at the beach yesterday which I'll most likely have edited and up on DeviantArt by tomorrow I'm hoping!
I'm gonna go bask in the firey pain of my skin now. Tah Tah!
